Getting here

11287 Klamath Trail, Lakeville, MN 55044. Whether your coming from the cities or the country, the Chart House is easy to get to and easy to park at. Off of MN-35 take the exit for County Rd 50. Take a left at Klamath and a right into our parking lot. We're just west of I-35, south of Buck Hill, behind HOM Furniture.

There's free onsite parking. If you're not completely able to drive home safely, leave your car at the venue overnight until noon the next day and catch a ride — just don't leave valuables inside. We won't watch it, but we won't tow it away either.

Gifts, cards & your table

As you come into the ballroom, the cards box and gifts table are set toward the back by the large lake-view windows — away from the entrance, for security. Most hosts also display a seating chart on the TV, or a board beside it, so you can find your table as you arrive.

Wondering how much to give? The couple would far rather see you than your money — but weddings are expensive, and hosts often invest roughly $125–$200 per guest on the reception, so if you're able, consider covering your seat.

The lakeside ceremony & getting around

Most ceremonies are held outdoors in the wedding garden on the shores of Lake Kingsley, so think about shoes that work on grass — and whether you can happily stand in heels for a while (a backup pair never hurts).

The building is fully accessible, with ramps, accessible restrooms, and an elevator to the lower level. The garden is a flat, grassy lawn — about as accessible as Mother Nature makes a lawn.

Good to know.

No outside alcohol or cannabis

Please don't bring any outside alcohol or marijuana products — anything brought in will be confiscated and not returned. Tailgating in the lot isn't permitted, and vehicles doing so may be towed without notice.

Decorations to leave at home

For everyone's safety and the building, we can't allow items that leave marks, cause damage, or get stuck: balloons of any kind, tape, command strips, screws, smoke bombs, confetti, stickers, and actual (open-flame) candles.

Bring comfortable shoes

After a couple of hours in heels you'll be in pain, and dancing four or five hours in them can be torture. Consider a second, comfier pair so you're not stuck barefoot all night — and if you forget, we do sell slippers.

Why was it done this way?

Every detail — ceremony and dinner timing, when the bar opens, the menu, linens, seating, announcements, and closing time — is planned in advance with your host. They're our customer, so we run the day exactly the way they've asked us to.

Nearby hotels.

Your host may have set up a room block — check with them first. Otherwise, pick a hotel close to the venue rather than near the airport, so it's a short, safe ride back after the party.
