CEREMONY
Ceremony music can include the prelude (as guests are arriving), processional (for important family members and the wedding party) and the recessional (the couple's exit with guests to follow).
Music can either be recorded or live or a combination of both. Recorded music gives greater flexibility in song choices, whereas live music allows for more flexibility in song length.
RECEPTION
Reception music can start during the cocktail hour and may play during dinner and then for the dance portion of your wedding. It can either be recorded or live or a combination of both. A DJ may also function as your emcee (to make announcements) and may include lighting options for your dance floor.
